Missed a Day

I missed a day this month. I was supposed to get a blog in on the second and the fourth Sunday of November 2022, but only got one in. I missed a day. I failed to set a goal I put out for myself. I failed.

It sucks, even if you're the only one who sees it.

I suppose it happens to all of us. Missing a day. We all feel that temptation, that lure to take it easy, to get one more rep of rest in. But I don't think that realization lies that way, only procrastination.

Ultimately, this post is meant to make up for my earlier missed post in November and to announce that I'll be shifting my blog posting dates. I'll still be doing at least two a month, but instead of the 2nd and 4th Sunday, I plan on dropping them on the 15th and 30th of every month.

This whole writing journey is... well a journey, but it's one that's grown with me as I've walked its path. There are things that are working and other things I need to pivot on. Like everything that involves growth, change is a constant, but we got to be willing to roll with the flow as we move forward.

And I intend to do that. To get up every day and chip away. Because even though there's the pain of failure, the soft whispers of doubt, and more, the feeling of being in the arena, of moving forward in life with a purpose, even if it's just a personal one, is worth it.

Ultimately, I hope that everyone who comes across this post finds their own sense of self-realization and that you all have a Happy Holidays!

Sincerely,

Josh Acocella

So Now I have a Blog

A blog. Not quite sure where I'm going to go with this, but a lot of my favorite forms of media shout stuff into the ether be it...
